Canada, IRCC hold the largest Express Entry Draw since March, inviting 932 Provincial Nominee applicants to apply for permanent residence on June 8, 2022.

This draw was the biggest Provincial Nominee only, Express Entry draw since March 2022 and had the Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) of 796. This is the largest invitation round since the draw held on March 2, 1047 PNP candidates were invited. In the previous draw 589 PNP candidates were invited with CRS of 741.

The Canadian government intends to make the most significant changes to Express Entry since the application management system was implemented in January 2015. According to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the minister would be allowed to construct groupings based on in-demand jobs and fulfil other policy objectives, such as admitting more francophone immigrants.
This proposal would allow IRCC to deviate considerably from the existing approach for issuing ITAs for permanent residence. Since the implementation of the Express Entry application management system, IRCC has approved ITAs based on CRS score and Express Entry program eligibility.
