British Columbia Issued Draw and Invites 276 Skilled Worker and Express Entry BC candidates on June 16, 2020.

Canada, British Columbia (BCPNP) conducted another draw on June 16, 2020. PNP invites 276 Skills Immigration and Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence.
Invitations were made to Skilled Worker and International Graduate candidates in both the Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration streams.
Minimum score required in this draws for each category are:
-SI-Skilled Worker-100
-SI-International Graduate-100
-SI Entry Level and Semi Skilled -80
-EEBC-Skilled Worker-100
-EEBC- International Graduate-103

Rise in unemployment rate in India due to Covid -19

The corona virus (COVID-19) epidemic has contributed to an increase in the country's unemployment rate to 17.90% in June second week. With urban areas have unemployment rate of 19.22% compared to rural 17.31%
The highest unemployment rate was recorded 27.11 % for the week ended May 3, up from the point below 7 % before the beginning of the pandemic in mid-March, the Center for Indian Economy Monitoring (CMIE) said. The think tank based in Mumbai said the unemployment rate was the highest in urban areas, which is the greatest number of red zones due to corona virus cases, at 29.22 %, compared to 26.69 % in rural areas.
Economist have warned of the constant threat of unemployment since Prime Minister Narendra Modi put the country under a lockdown on March 25 to arrest the spread of corona virus infections.

Australia Starts Accepting the Applications for Skilled Regional Visa-NSW Subclass 491

NSW immigration will begin accepting for NSW nomination for the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) on Monday 15 June 2020 and will stop accepting applications at 5pm Tuesday 23 June 2020.

To apply for NSW nomination you must:

Have an occupation on the NSW Stream 1 Regional Skilled Occupation List, and;
Have been living in a designated regional area in NSW for at least the last 12 months, and;
Have been working in a designated regional area in NSW for at least the last 12 months, and;
Have been working in your nominated occupation, or a closely related occupation, for at least the last 12 months.

Applications will be assessed by the end of the financial year; Tuesday 30 June 2020.

Australia is open for New South Wales (NSW) nomination for skilled work regional (provisional visa subclass 491 from 15th June 2020 to 23rd June 2020.

Beginning of the year 2020, Canada Express Entry was seen functioning in constant way but the outbreak of COVID-19 has put some sudden impact on Canadian immigration process. Canada, Express Entry Draw #152

Canada, Latest Express Entry issued draw for CEC category, lowest CRS has been recorded of the year 2020.

Express Entry another Draw took place on Thursday, 11th June 2020; this was the 152nd Express Entry Draw of the total draws held so far.
Total 3,559 candidates were issued the invitations to apply for Permanent Residence. This draw has recorded lowest cut off score of 2020 which was 437 followed by previous lowest CRS 440 in draw held on May 28, 2020. All the invitations were made to Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

IRCC continues to issuing invitations only to PNP and CEC candidates. It has now been more than three months since the last all-program draw. This is because of COVID-19 impact but it doesn’t mean these restrictions will remain permanent. You can see again the ranking has gone very low and chances of the candidates will be high in coming big draws that are waiting in a pool from a long time.
