Canada, IRCC Issued First Express Entry Draw Of 2021 PNP Only

IRCC invited 250 invitations for Express Entry Candidates who have Provincial nominations with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 813 on January 06, 2021.

Candidates who have received nominations from an Express Entry linked Provincial Candidate Program (PNPs) automatically get 600 points added to their total points, which is why the score threshold is comparatively high compared to other rounds of invitation

Express Entry is application process model in Canada for three federal economic-class programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class, Candidates in these programs, as well as some PNPs, are given a score based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

The year 2020 was record-breaking for Express Entry, despite the corona virus pandemic. IRCC started with more draws, which means that more of the best candidates from the Express Entry Pool were invited.
