Canada, Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) and Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Programs (SINP) Draws On Same Day on July 29, 2020 Invited Candidates to Apply for Permanent Residence

Canada, PNP Ontario conducted its third Tech Draw of this year on 29th July 2020, candidates invited in this draw did not need a job offer to receive an invitation, and only one year of work experience was need in one of the following in-demand occupations:

• Computer and information systems managers (NOC 0213)
• Computer engineers (NOC 2147)
• Database analysts and data administrators (NOC 2172)
• Software engineers and designers (NOC 2173)
• Computer programmer and interactive media developers (NOC 2174)
• Web designers and developers (NOC 2175)​

This was OINP’s largest draw of 2020. A total of 1,288 invitations were made to candidates who may be eligible for the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream.  CRS score were recorded between 463 and 477 to receive and invitation in this draw and an Express Entry profile was needed.

Another draw was held on same day, July 29, 2020 by Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) invited total 502 candidates from following categories:

• Express Entry sub-category-254
• Occupations In-Demand sub-category-248

The minimum score required in the July 29 draws was 70 for both sub-categories.
COVID-19 has exposed significant shortcomings in Canada’s immigration so Government is all set to implement many reforms to create more opportunities in order to reward skills in demand.
